Check Out What’s in Store for Forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lineup

So far, Samsung has not provided any details regarding Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus. However, looks like its specifications have surfaced online, giving everyone an idea of how they would be like.

How do Tab S7 and S7 Plus differ?

According to WinFuture, one of the major differences in Samsung’s forthcoming tablets lies in their screens. S7 Plus is expected to have an OLED display measuring 12.4 inches in size and a resolution of 2800 x 1752. It is also inclusive of an in-display fingerprint sensor. Comparatively, the S7 is having an LCD screen measuring 11 inches. However, the screen has a relatively lesser resolution of 2560 x 1600 when compared to S7 Plus. Moreover, the S7 tab has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The screens of both devices have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Other features

Although the screens are different, not much of a difference has been observed in the other specifications. According to WinFuture, both S7 and S7 Plus are equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. They also have dual rear cameras. It includes a main 13-megapixel camera along with a 5 megapixel camera that is pretty much wide. The frontal portion of both the tablets includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

As far as the memory and storage capacity is concerned, both S7 and S7 Plus are imbibed with 6GB of RAM and 12 GB of storage, to begin with.

Apart from the above, both the devices are designed to support “Wireless Dex.” It simply means that these tablets can be connected to an external PC or monitor and that too, without any cable. There have been talks regarding this sort of functionality from way back in 2018 itself. Now, it does seem like with the entry of Galaxy Tab S7. This feature would exist.

Battery Specifications

There seems to be some difference between the battery capacities of S7 and S7 Plus. While S7 plus is expected to have a larger capacity of 10,090 mAh, S7 is coming up with a 7,040 mAh battery. Both would be eligible for fast charging up to 45W, although WinFuture claims that they would be coming up with a charger of just 15W within their box. The charging function can be understood in detail only when these devices come on board.

It may be quite interesting to note that this is not the first time that Samsung’s forthcoming tablet details have surfaced. It can be recalled that during the beginning of this month, many press images of Tab S7 had been shared by Evan Blass. These also included S Pen Stylus and keyboard cover of the device. With these recent revelations, it looks like Samsung will not have much to notify regarding Galaxy Tab S7.

The details regarding the forthcoming tablets of Samsung are expected to be made public along with the Galaxy Note 20, which is also an upcoming model. It is set to happen on the 5th of August.
