Chipotle Launches E-gift Card to Healthcare Workers

Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced a new e-gift card program aimed at helping the healthcare workers who have been giving their all to this fight against the Coronavirus. The company has decided to match 10 percent of the special e-gift card sales and donate part of the amount to Direct Relief.

The unit is an NGO working towards securing medical equipment for healthcare workers. Direct Relief has also been working essentially towards providing PPE to the healthcare workers. PPE refers to the personal protective equipment that the healthcare workers need to protect themselves while they are around patients of the viral pandemic.

The e-gift card goes by the title of ‘Healthcare Heroes’ – very rightly called so – e-gift card. The cards can be purchased until May 31 by visiting Chipotle website and visiting the dedicated page. It should be noted that to purchase a Healthcare Heroes e-gift card. The last date has been capped on May 31, 2020.

Once you are there on the website, there shall be specific denominations over there, and you can purchase an e-gift card. The denominations mean that you can choose from them and get an e-gift card made. The proceeding shall be done after that only. The 10 percent of sales shall be in accordance with the donation percentage such that the minimum donation is $ 5,000, and maximum donation is $ 250,000.

The brand also provided the feature of an in-app delivery tracker in the application that provides step by step updates in real-time about the status of the delivery. The company has also given space for important instructions so that willing customers can opt for a contactless delivery while they order their food online. It is a time when digital orders and transactions are indispensable. The offer is not valid on Burritos by the Box orders. It is also invalid in catering.
