After the”announcement about the launch of Disney+ streaming service in the US early this year, now Disney added a sweet surprise to the people in other countries. Disney announced that the Disney+ would hit the home screens of the UK and four other European countries by March 2020.

The companies are in the spree of launching new video streaming services this year, leaving viewers in a tough spot to make their choice. Previously, Disney announced the launch of Disney+, a new streaming service with its exclusive content in the US, and said that it would get launched on November 12.
When CEO Bob Iger announced the launch of Disney+ last April, it was clear that the service is all set to compete with the other streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Disney+ consists of all the shows and hit movies of the company since the launch of the company. Furthermore, Disney+ will have exclusive shows of its own. The streaming service will include famous franchises of its own like Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.
Disney Plus will have the famous Simpsons with the launch. To grab more attention, it is all set with a star war based show, The Mandalorian. Not just one-star war based show, there is also another prequel show of Star Wars Rogue One. It seems like there is also a show about the Marvel character LOKI. Disney’s plan will definitely lure a lot of people into subscribing to the new streaming service.
Disney announced that Disney+ would hit the UK in March 2020. As of now, the rate for the subscription for the UK is not announced. When questioned about it, Disney stated that a new plan would be announced later. Disney+ comes at a rate of $6.99 per month in the US.
Disney announced in a tweet stating that along with the UK, they will launch in other four major European countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. Disney also announced that the shows might vary according to the territory. This is because, in order to add certain shows, they need to work on with the copyrights and other legal policies.
Disney+ will compete with other services like Apple TV and HBO Max. Apple TV came into action early this month. HBO Max will hit the home screens in March 2020, as well.
