The most recent launch by HP is the Omen X 2S, as the title suggests the new gaming technology is the one with a dual screen. Where there is one bigger display and near the keyboard is the smaller display which you can use both simultaneously. The news about gaming technology was announced at the HP Gaming festival in Beijing.
The display has two types, the start being the one with a 15-inch 1080p and the high-end divergent display with high resolution of 4K with 240Hz refresh rate option. The model is significantly designed considering the young gamers as it helps them to simultaneously use two types of functions based on their need. The bigger screen helps them to play their natural game but the smaller one can be used for other apps like Spotify for listening to music without being interrupted.
The new gaming laptop has a ninth-generation intel core i9 CPU along with 32 GB of RAM. If we consider the price of the product it ranges from roughly $1050 (INR 73,990) to $1100 (INR 77,500) as per the features and model. The same will act as a small second touchscreen display for music and also chatting for gaming enthusiasts.
The touchscreen lies between the display and the keyboard which does not makes it a very comfortable place to have a chat on but one can also use it in a tilted mode. It includes Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 and a 144Hz 1080p G-Sync IPS display. One will also be able to kit it out with up to an i9-9980H, a 32GB XMP DDR4, a 2TB SSD, an RTX 2080 Max-Q and a 4K or 240Hz 1080p panel. The laptops are also supposed to be also very sleek and skinnier.
All the Omen version of HTC has been upgraded to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and with an option for Optane H10, it is Intel’s latest update for its disk-acceleration technology that integrates the cache into the SSD.
As mentioned above the laptops have definitely skinned down a notch than the before updates. They have slimmed down to 20 and 27 mm, that is a reduction of at least 10 to 20 percent as the case may be. It was also released that the Omen Photon Wireless Mouse has a 0.2 millisecond response time and Qi charging, along with the wired Pavilion Gaming Mouse 200, which is pretty fast and quick.
In addition to the dual gaming screen, HP Omen X2S is all set to be a head turner. That is it will attract all the people for being the gaming powerhouse from HP. It is built on the basics that include a full metal chassis and a liquid metal thermal compound applied to the CPU and this is all for the enhanced gaming performance. The new launch of HP isn’t a new creation but the idea was first launched by ASUS, though the dual screen launched by ASUS was not for gaming purpose.
The new gaming laptop is all set to hit the market and will be available by June and will be available even via HP.com. But the new upgraded 240Hz option will be available by July.
