Microsoft Asks Feedback on Windows 10 Start Menu

Microsoft is going to stop Windows 7 in January 2020.  Only the companies who pay the annual fee every year will get security updates. This is a powerful step to relocate from Windows 7 to Windows 10. So, Microsoft is asking the feedback to know “How You Feel about Windows 10 Start Menu? They accept your suggestions on how to make it better.

Recently, Microsoft has launched the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, on May 21st, 2019 to the compatible devices. The new version of Windows 10 contains a set of features and changes around security, productivity and design like Reserved Storage, Mouse Customization, Recommended Troubleshooting, Light Mode, Sandbox, Tamper Protection, etc.

Microsoft thought Windows 10 would be last big bang update for the operating system. We see the updates in Windows OS for every few years and now we can say that we won’t see such updates frequently anymore. This is the idea to make Windows a service. So, Windows 10 could be the major version. Even in the future, if Microsoft opts Windows 11 or 12, and if users upgrade to 10, then irrespective of regular updates, users will stick to “Windows” without considering the version numbers.

As per the latest news, there are some issues in Windows 10 version 1903 which is “Windows 10 May 2019 Update”. This Windows 10 update seems to be routine just like Windows 7. On May 21st 2019 they have released Windows 10 by adding meaningful features in it.

From Years, Microsoft invited feedbacks from the insiders regarding the Components of Windows 10 and Taskbar experience. After the upgrade process, the May 2019 update is minimizing the issues. At that time, Microsoft is blocking the update on some devices aggressively and this disappointed the users. Considering the user’s feedback, it made a change. All those issues can be resolved with Windows 10 version 1903. The users of Windows can now decide whether to update or not and there will be no force & automatic updates of new features.

When you start Windows 1 Insider build 18908 (20H1), the Insiders will get a popup asking that “How Satisfied are you with the Start Menu?”

Click on the Notification and give the feedback for the question by giving a rating between 1 to 5. Along with this, there will be a box which asks your suggestion on how to make Windows 10 Start Menu Better. By this survey, they can know how you feel about the Windows 10 Start Menu.

If a new feature is released you will get Download and Install Message and this is available in the Windows Update in the Settings panel. If insiders Don’t Want to Install they can simply ignore the message. By ignoring this message you can avoid buggy updates and troublesome issues.

People who use Windows 10 versions can pause the updates for some time. You need to go to Settings and then go to Windows Updates and Click on Pause Updates for 7 Days. After that users can extend the update for 35 days by pausing the update 5 times.

Moreover, the May 2019 Update includes safety that uninstalls the complimented updates that harm your Computer. In case if you face issues after installing the update, Windows will diagnose the problem and fix it. If not it will block and stop reinstalling for 30 days.
