On October 24th, Motorola is releasing the Moto G8 Plus, and Motorola G8 Play at an event in Brazil. According to a leak, it may also release its next E-series that is Moto E6 Play. But the important part is that the Moto E6 Play is going to be similar to its predecessor Moto E6 Plus. As the Moto E–series is all about compromises for the sake of affordability, this E6 Play might also sail in the same boat as its predecessor.
Motorola has compromised in the high-end features and quality in the name of affordability. Motorola released Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play in the last year. But unlike these, Moto E6 was the only available one which was released in summer this year until Moto introduced the Moto E6 Plus during IFA in Berlin in September. Motorola released the E6 series as a budget phone. And they were available in South America and Europe only.
Moto E6 Play is the next one in the E-line. As the leak suggests, the highlighted features of the Moto E6 Play are, it is likely to have a 16:9 ratio display and a micro USB charging port. The display panel will have an HD resolution. The phone is expected to have thick bezels on its forehead and chin. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the E6 Plus.
Also, the main feature that differentiates Moto E6 Play from the Moto E6 Plus is that it does not have a dual-lens system. Moto E6 Play has a horizontally arranged single camera on the back with a LED flash. It also has a fingerprint sensor on its back. It has chunky bezels on the sides. Other than these, we can say that the Moto E6 Play is similar to the Moto E6 Plus in terms of design. And it is expected to come out in flashy backs that are in black and blue.
The Dutch website Mobielkopen also leaked some of the features of the Moto G8 Play. Based on the leak, the Moto G8 Play has a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It has a 48-megapixel main shooter along with a depth sensor. It has a triple rear camera setup and has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
It basically shares a teardrop-shaped notch and a large chin. Also, it will have a screen width of 6.2-inches with an HD resolution. There is also an Helio P60 or P70 SoC with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. It has a battery capacity of 4000mAh with USB Type-C port.
Above all these, there is still no information on the price. The Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play are expected to be released on October 24th at an event in Brazil. Along with these, Motorola may introduce a new budget phone, E6 Play in launch. The phones are expected to go on sale to the markets across Europe, South America and the Asia Pacific Region. The phones are expected to reach India by next month.
