Nintendo’s Kirby Fighters 2 out, Switch Owners were Taken Aback

Nintendo’s Kirby Fighters 2 out; Switch owners were taken aback

Nintendo’s latest Kirby brawler is out, supposedly for the Switch, which Nintendo has never declared officially. As it is called, Kirby Fighters is digitally available on the Play Nintendo website from where it can be downloaded for $20. Nintendo has released a trailer for the same. As can be seen in the trailer, there is a voiceover that says Kirby Vs. Kirby Vs. Kirby Vs. Kirby. Nintendo had accidentally put up this game for downloading it on eShop sometime today, only to take it down later on just before its official launch.

What is the latest Kirby game all about?

The Kirby Fighters 2 is somewhat like a sequel to the classic Super Smash Bros game- the crossover fighting series game, which was again a part of the Kirby Triple Deluxe collection specially made for 3DS that arrived back in 2014. Users can choose the fighter character they intend to own from a list of 17 Kirbys. Each of these Kirbys has different copy abilities and qualities embedded within them. Some of these include Sword, Beam, Artist, Ninja, Parasol, Bomb, Whip, and the newly-added Wrestler option. Popular friends and enemies like Bandana Waddle Dee, Meta Knight, and King Dedede can also be found making an appearance and playing in the game.

The game is designed to have two modes: a Single-handed mode and a Story mode. In the Single-handed mode, the player has a challenge in front of him such that he needs to throw out all his enemies or foes as fast as possible. The player has to take on a total of nine battles against tough opponents, all alone. Hence this model is named as the Single-handed mode. The lone Kirby surviving in the game wins.

The Story mode gives the user an option to work out a strategy either with a friend or with the help of AI for a possible win in the game. To win this game, the player needs to finally fight against Meta Knight and King Dedede and defeat them both to win the game.

Multiple users can also play this game at a single time locally. However, a maximum of up to 4 players can play this game at a time. All of the users should either have a Switch of their own or the game battle online to play together. It is also possible that people who are not acquainted with each other end up playing a game together online by challenging themselves for online battles.

About Kirby Triple Deluxe

The Kirby Triple Deluxe game arrived in 2014. Again, this is a 4-player battle game. Kirby fighting out and defeating all the enemies wins the game. Back then, the Kirbys were equipped with copy abilities of Archer, Beetle, Fire, Sword, and much more to help in their quest to knock out the enemies. The Wrestler ability was not present within the Kirby Triple Deluxe game and introduced in the Kirby Fighters 2 game.
