It has not been long since OnePlus entered the smartphone market has captured the attention of premium smartphone- users with the majority. This year, unlike the previous launches, it is bringing in a major change in its ‘T’ model with respect to the camera.

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 pro is out already and the ‘T’ model is expected to be announced and launched soon, likely in late September or beginning of October since the OnePlus has been releasing its T model around this time only. The OnePlus 6T was introduced in October 2018 then available in stores in the month of November while the 3T and 5T model were announced and made available in the same month itself in their respective year of launches.

The company has brought in some major changes in the camera of the ‘T’ model. The most exciting and exclusive feature is that there are three rear cameras in the circular compartmental arrangement. The cameras are arranged horizontally. The OnePlus 7 has a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. If the upcoming phone follows the same set-up, then the third camera could be a wide-angle or a telephoto lens.

As per the leaks and news, the new OnePlus T model is believed to have a curved bezel-free screen. The new model could also have an audio upgrade which would be better than the OnePlus 7 Pro which has the appearance of the speaker grill above the screen and is made more noticeable.

This design shows a circular camera block in the rear, which is not at all near to the appearance of the already launched OnePlus 7 range and could suggest some major photographic features and upgrades. The ‘T’ models are usually a newer model with specification upgrades which is believed to be a little more than that now.

Since, OnePlus always offers the latest and greatest chipsets from Qualcomm, for this year, we can expect the OnePlus 7T series to get the Snapdragon 855 Plus chip. The newer chip offers a 15 percent hike in graphics performance and a four percent improvement in CPU performance.

The starting price of at least £499 (that is around $600/AU$890) for the OnePlus 7T and at least $669 / £649 (that is around AU$990) for the OnePlus 7T Pro, assuming the launch of both phones. The company’s CEO, Pete Lau has confirmed that new OnePlus phone with 5G will be launching by the end of the year – which is probably going to be the OnePlus 7T.
