The much-awaited Galaxy unpacked Samsung has announced an event date, and the potential buyers seem to be excited for the launch of new devices, on 5th August, Wednesday, 10 AM ET. The company has officially announced the date. It is expected that a new range of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 devices will be launched along with a newer version of the Galaxy Fold, which was launched earlier.
There have been many rumors around what the company would be bringing into the market when accidentally images of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra were leaked online. The images sported a beautiful copper color, which is expected to be the theme of the event next month. The copper color splash in the event notification matches the same, which has become the reason for all the speculated rumors.
It is still not confirmed that Galaxy Note 20 Ultra would be the flagship of the launch next month, but viewers are waiting keenly for the announcement that is coming from Samsung soon. The hype has never been more as pictures of the unannounced Samsung phone were shared by the YouTuber Jimmy the Promo.
After seeing all the images online, buyers expect a triple rear camera array, which would include a periscope style lens as well. A 4th sensor was also seen in the pictures from Jimmy the Promo, which might be there in the new model as a 3D ToF sensor or laser autofocus.
Surely, whatever Samsung plans to come up with, the Unpacked event will be available with notably enhanced features. It might include the much-expected Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 or the unexpected Snapdragon 865 Plus. Qualcomm has recently announced both these chipsets for making mobile phone 5G technology compatible. If the newer Notes have these processors, it would be assured that the entire line up would be 5G compatible.
The S-pen usually there with Samsung notes will make an appearance with the new mobile phone as well and probably with better features than before. As far as the rumors suggest, there would be two models launched by Samsung, one being the Galaxy Note 20 in a smaller size and the other being the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in rather bigger screen size. No details on the difference between the two might be, except the screen size isn’t clear yet.
Another device is expected to be a part of the event, a successor of the previously launched Galaxy Z fold, also anticipated to be named as Galaxy Z fold 2. It would join the line-up of Galaxy Z flip phones that have been launched until now by the company and would probably feature a cut-out camera that has already made an appearance in many Samsung flagship phones.
Even though no specifics of the phones to be launched have been officially announced yet. The event would surely shed light on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, which was already out through China’s TENAA certification center earlier.
