The Summer Olympics that is to be held in 2020 has already created a vibe which can be clearly seen from a statement given by Samsung that the company is going to launch the Olympic games edition of Samsung Galaxy S10+, next year. The Summer Olympics is going to be held in Tokyo and it is being said that the Olympics edition would only be available in the country, according to NTT Docomo.
The special edition of Samsung Galaxy S10+ has the same appearance as the Prism White Galaxy S10+ but has a slightly different feature of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics symbol on the back of the phone. The company is even offering a special edition pair of Samsung Galaxy buds to the buyers which would have the logo of Tokyo 2020 engraved in it. The earbuds are also of the same color as that of the phone i.e. prism white. No doubt the Olympics edition is going to create mayhem in the market, but sadly it is being said that Samsung is only going to produce 10,000 units of the galaxy S10+ Olympics edition.
There has been no fixed date of the launching of the Galaxy S10+ special edition, but it is being assumed that it would be launched after the Olympics. Meanwhile, Samsung would have launched the Galaxy S11 and would even be on the verge of releasing Galaxy Note S11. Now, let’s talk about the features of this special edition Galaxy S10+. So, the phone carries an excellent 6.4 inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Along with that the phone is powered with Snapdragon 855 and has 8GB of memory and a storage capacity of 128GB. The special edition even displays a triple camera feature in the back. Apart from that, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ has a battery of 4100mAh and also a fingerprint sensor in the display itself.
No doubt Samsung is doing a great job by introducing the special edition of the phone for promoting Summer Olympics but it would be really sad if the rumors stating that the phones would only be available in Japan, come true. Keeping that aside, the special edition has all the required features and has some unique features which would make it a bit different from other smartphones.
Meanwhile, we can only hope the special edition Samsung Galaxy S10+ would be launched worldwide. Though it is a bit odd that the phone would be released after the Summer Olympics, though there has been no confirmation regarding this. But News is that the launch date might be after the Olympics, through a website in NTT Docomo.
