Toasted Cheddar Chalupa to make a Comeback to Taco Bell along with its Vegetarian Version

Toasted Cheddar Chalupa to make a comeback to Taco Bell along with its vegetarian version

Last year, Taco Bell introduced the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa into its menu item list. The Toasted Cheddar Chalupa is a dish that has been introduced after modifying Tach Bell’s famous Chalupa by adding the 6-month old Cheddar over the shell after toasting it well. A few days back, this Taco Bell famous dish made a comeback to all of its outlets in Canada. The latest news is that this famous dish is arriving in the US also, starting November 5, albeit, this is expected to be present only for a short while.

Now, there is a little bit more good news for all Toasted Cheddar Chalupa lovers. This dish is not coming alone. It will be bringing along its vegetarian version, known as the Black Bean Toasted Cheddar Chalupa.

Next year, one can expect to have many Taco Bell dishes in their vegetarian formats. Taco Bell is known for introducing many items that stay for a limited period.

The Black Bean Toasted Cheddar Chalupa has been certified to be a completely vegetarian dish by the American Vegetarian Association (AVA). It contains all the tastes present in the original dish. However, the seasoned beef, grilled chicken, and the marinated steak have been replaced by the protein prepared by using the plants of Taco Bell’s well-known black beans.

An interesting feature to be noted here is that before Taco Bell brought the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa on board, it was the Chalupa that ruled the entire restaurant. Food lovers coming in to smack on their favorite delicacies ended up replacing meat with beans within the Chalupa whenever they were offered an opportunity to customize their dish.

The Black Bean Toasted Cheddar Chalupa will house itself within the Veggie Cravings Menu. Apart from this one, two other dishes are a part of this section: the Black Bean Chalupa and Veggie Nachos Party Pack. These three dishes will be giving company to 13 other vegetarian dishes that belong to Taco Bell’s menu. All of these dishes have been AVA certified. Customers can choose to pick any of these dishes according to their likes from Taco Bell’s website.

Taco Bell is well-known for bringing out the best flavors, even when it comes to vegetarian dishes. It is known to prepare delicacies that can suit people adopting a wide range of lifestyles.

Apart from this, there is another piece of news coming in from the Taco Bell forefront. The restaurant chain would be providing Doritos Locos Tacos as a part of its “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion. It was launched on Tuesday during the first match of the ongoing baseball World Series after Mookie Betts belonging to the Dodger stole one base, thereby resulting in all the Taco Bell customers within the US getting free tacos.

The second time customers in the US are enjoying the free Taco offer, all thanks to Betts. The first one was during the 2018 World Series, which was again due to Betts stealing a base.

To grab a free Doritos Locos Taco, customers across the US need to visit the restaurant outlets on Wednesday, October 28. The offer will be on until midnight or till stocks last.
